| Privacy Policy |
SWAN values their past, present and future members, clients and colleagues. We have taken measures to provide information security in support of this value. We respect the privacy of every individual who visits our web site.
This is how we will handle information we learn about you:
The information we receive depends on what you do when you visit our site. We will not collect or retain any information about you personally (that is your name, address, telephone number or e-mail address) unless you choose to provide it to us. Your information will not be sold, traded or provided to any third party without your prior consent.
Information is collected by us in order to clarify a client’s motivation, goals, history, trends and patterns, and to better meet the client’s needs. It is retained in support of that client’s potential future membership and work with SWAN, with the exception of training/workshop surveys, which are retained to assist in refining or creating future training/workshops to more closely meet participants’ needs. All client information is dated.
SWAN obtains client consent for any other use of its information (e.g., for a published article or public speaking presentation). In the event of subcontracting or other third party contracts, the other party(ies) must produce a privacy protection strategy that matches or exceeds that of SWAN’s.
We respond to public enquiries with courtesy and efficiency, ensuring that we accurately understand the nature of the enquiry, the expectation of the enquirer, and the timeframe in which the enquirer may expect a response. This information is returned to the enquirer to verify understanding.
Client information is disposed in a way that prevents improper access (e.g., via shredder for paper and deletion of electronic records, including CD ROMs).
