SWAN serves as an organization that unites, supports and promotes entrepreneurs, managers and professional women to work together, share resources and build relationships on both a personal and business level. Through the participation in a variety of community programs and initiatives, SWAN’s members come together to foster empowerment and advancement for women.
Through educational seminars, workshops and social events that support development, growth and business connections.
Through SWAN’s Web site, newsletters and electronic publications, the provision of editorial content, networking and events, members are able to leverage their membership to pursue individual empowerment and advancement.

Profile and History:
Originally launched in North Vancouver, B.C. in 1994 as the Business Women’s Community Network by Monika Kelly, the organization changed its name to Successful Women Always Network and Cathy Kuzel, with a group of like-minded visionary women, built it into the organization we have today.
SWAN is completely volunteer-run with chapter presidents leading activities in North Vancouver and White Rock.
